Speech reflection 2

My speech seems to be moving along. I wrote out the claim, reasons, grounds, warrant, backing, rebuttal, and qualifier. 

I decided to go for the angle in which the appeal to pathos is very evident. Because the Julian center is a center which was developed by influential women in the State of Indiana for victims of domestic violence i decided that one of the major hooks for the donation of time and money to the center would be to make the listener feel something for the victims. I think that by appealing to the listeners emotions they will want to donate money and they will want to help the victims of domestic violence. 

Domestic violence is very prominent in our society today. I think that because there is a desperate need for help when it comes to domestic violence the listeners will feel a connection to the issue and they will want to help those who deal with fighting for their own safety on a daily basis. 

The Julian center provides therapy, community, and love to the victims of domestic violence. The center is very helpful but it needs more money so that it can help more victims. Hopefully my speech will get it just that.
